History
Generations of excellence
Polyethylene Pipelines Co Ltd was established in 1980 by a husband and wife, Colin and Christine Ray. Specialising in underground gas and water services, the family name ‘Ray’ has gone hand in hand with gas and water pipeline engineering in the South East, London, and surrounding areas since the early 1960s.
Our Managing Director, James Ray, is a third-generation gas/water engineer and has every intention of building on the excellent reputation built by his grandfather, father, and uncles.
Powering infrastructure nationwide
We remain deeply involved in the utilities sector nationwide, carrying out underground gas and water installations and repairs, plus additional services such as groundworks, civils, plant hire, and vacuum excavation.
Over recent years, we have expanded the business with various divisions and revenue streams. We are now known as PPC Group.
Our HQ is based in Winchfield, Hampshire; however, we also manage three other storage yards across Berkshire & Surrey.
PPC operates a substantial fleet of rigids and tractor units equipped with lorry loaders, alongside units and trailers designed to move heavy, indivisible loads. PPC operates nationwide, 24/7, and undertakes a range of overseas projects throughout the year.

James and Dan collected a total of 16 sculptures, crated them individually, loaded into a 40ft container and then had them shipped out to Miami. We then met our customer in Miami a few weeks later and installed each piece as instructed.

Dan and Jamie gathered several items from the artist's residence in Godalming and transported a collection of sculptures to an event in Reschio, Italy, where each piece was carefully positioned and prepared for an annual exhibition.
